What Is the Morning Briefing?
The Morning Briefing is a daily summary that appears on your dashboard each morning. It gives you everything you need to know about the day ahead in one glance — no digging through calendars, weather apps, or reports.
Think of it as your personal operations briefing. It's generated fresh each day using your real booking data, local weather forecasts, and revenue history.
Available on All Plans
What's Included
Each Morning Briefing covers four key areas:
Today's Bookings
A complete rundown of every booking on your calendar today. You'll see:
- Number of bookings and total anglers expected
- Trip types, times, and group sizes
- Any special requests or notes from anglers
- Angler contact information for quick reference
Weather Conditions
A local weather forecast for your area, including temperature, wind speed, precipitation chance, and wave conditions (when applicable). This helps you make go/no-go decisions early and proactively communicate with anglers if conditions look unfavorable.
Revenue Summary
A snapshot of your financial performance, including today's expected revenue, week-to-date totals, and how you're trending compared to the same period last month. Spot trends early and adjust your strategy.
Action Items
The briefing highlights anything that needs your attention:
- Unconfirmed bookings that need a response
- Pending deposits or outstanding payments
- Angler messages awaiting reply
- Upcoming bookings with incomplete details

Making the Most of Your Briefing
Build a Morning Routine
The briefing works best as part of a consistent routine. Spend 2 minutes each morning reviewing it, resolve any action items, and you'll start the day fully prepared.
Use It for Team Coordination
If you have staff or crew, the briefing gives you talking points for a quick morning huddle. Everyone knows the day's schedule, angler details, and any special considerations.
Watch the Trends
The revenue comparison in each briefing builds awareness of your business patterns over time. You'll start noticing which days, weeks, and seasons perform best without having to dig into analytics.
